Americable Customer Notice Regarding COVID-19

Dear Americable Customer: 



As your internet and video provider, we understand the importance of connectedness during the evolving Coronavirus situation. We take seriously the vital role we play in our customers’ lives, especially during uncertain times like these. That’s why we’re taking this opportunity to assure you that we’re doing everything we can to continue providing uninterrupted access to the services you depend on while at the same time protecting the health and safety of our employees, our customers and the people of our communities. We’ve conducted extensive business continuity preparations and, by investing heavily in our broadband network, we’re ready to accommodate increased levels of demand during this time, especially as work-from-home arrangements become increasingly necessary. We want you to know that we have customer care as one of our core principles and would like to update you on some of the steps we have already put in place:

 

  • All Data Over-Usage Fees will be waived for the month of March so please disregard any automated notices you may have received as we will be crediting these accounts.

 

  • Launch of our new Online Sign Up Portal which will include the option for quarantined or Restricted Movement customers to have a designated representative pick up their equipment or have the equipment delivered to their residence.

 

  • 231 designated quarantine/ROM barracks rooms have been outfitted with a free basic level of Wi-Fi service which will enable those newly assigned Sailors & Marines to notify their families of their safe arrival. These rooms will also have the ability to upgrade their level of service via the new Online Sign Up Portal.

 

  • Bill payment options: We have convenient online billing options so that you do not need to travel to an office location to make a payment. See americable.net for more details.
